Hi all
Its hard to believe that it is only 28 weeks on Friday until WASH 2016.
We have booked all but one act for the weekend, and this year promises to be very exciting.
I am in the process of compiling all the paperwork and this will be with you by the end of the week.
Please don’t forget that we need balances in by 8th September this year due to the new booking arrangements implemented by Manor Park’s new owners.

New Programme, April to June 2016
Our new programme is up for the next three months. In addition to our regular club-nights, we will also be organising Ten-Pin Bowling, Pool, days-out to Museums, Live-Music Festivals, camping and partying up in Norfolk, and to the cinema to catch all the superhero movies that are coming out! Our updated programme of events is now online: as well as club-nights at our usual venue – the White Horse, in Chadwell Heath – we have a packed series of weekend events, including trips to restaurants, the Cinema, days out to London, and sporting events including 10 Pin Bowling and Pool.

Members of Barking & Dagenham Plus who took part in the sponsored Walk
Members of a local community group commemorated the anniversary of one of their deceased friends at the weekend: with a sponsored walk to raise money for Cancer charities.
Barking & Dagenham Plus, a social group for young adults, staged a sponsored walk around Canvey Island in Essex on Saturday 12th September. The walk was nine miles long and collectively they raised over £300 in doing so.
Club chairman Richard Leach explained:
“Several years ago, one of our members, Adrian Pembroke, tragically died of cancer – so every September we hold a charity fundraising event in his honour. We also put on other events throughout the year: we intend to be staging a Charity Darts Tournament nearer to home in Chadwell Heath, later in 2015.”
