3 weeks Friday is the 3rd July and sees the start of the annual King’s Lynn Camping Weekend. The hall will be open from about 3.00pm
This year we have changed things a little.
Friday night we are putting on a buffet and a quiz, hosted by the one and only Mr Keith Israel. Heckling and abuse is positively encouraged.
Saturday daytime some of us are going on the train to Ely. It is a lovely city. When those who venture out return, we will be organising a pizza and chinese takeaway. Orders will need to be in by 5.00pm.
Once fed Plus legend Mr Mark Hawkins will be entertaining us with a disco until midnight
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO SHOWER FACILITIES, ALTHOUGH WE HAVE THE USE OF THE VILLAGE HALL OVERNIGHT SO WE HAVE TOILET AND WASH BASIN FACILITIES.
If the weather is rubbish or you can’t be bothered to erect a tent you can sleep in the village hall itself.
The costs for the weekend are as follows:
All weekend, including buffet £13.00
Saturday disco and camping £ 8.00
Disco only £ 6.00There is no formal theme to Saturday, but it is American Independence Day.
