A Plusser accosts passers-by on the streets of Chadwell Heath in a bid to entice new members.
Barking & Dagenham Plus is currently conducting a publicity drive, so Saturday morning saw members of the club distributing flyers in Chadwell Heath.
Plussers went to the Queens Theatre that evening.
Later that evening we went to the Queens Theatre in Hornchurch, to see a production of the Rocky Horror Show. Some of us who could not get tickets for this sold out production had to make do with actual Rock instead, by going to see East Of Java at the Cauliflower in Seven Kings, Ilford.

Barking & Dagenham Plus 
I thoroughly enjoyed it, the actors and actresses were superb, they sang really well, the costumes were authentic to the film, and practically everyone in the audience got up to dance to the Timewarp!
The funniest thing was when members of the audience called out comical responses to the actors and the narrator, at one point they even made the narrator laugh!
Quite a few audience members were dressed up as characters from the show, one man came as Frank N Furter in six inch heels, he had a struggle walking in them!
All in all, a great night’s entertainment, I’d recommend it!
