Day Trip To Brighton

June 16, 2007

Saturday saw members of Thurrock join with B&D Plus to go down to Eastbourne and Brighton. This was originally meant to be as part of the Lavender Line: however, we were informed that the train in question was unavailable, due to an exploding cooker. So instead we just went on a day trip by coach to the South coast.

Your Humble Blogmaster was responsible for the superior quality of CDs that were played on the coach. After all, I soon discovered that if there weren’t any decent CDs available, the only alternative would have to be Black Lace’s Greatest Hits

We had a good time once we got there. The only real problem is that we had to leave Brighton just as the evening was getting started, in order to get home at a reasonable hour.

The Lavender Line itself will be re-scheduled for later this year.
